‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ 35th Anniversary Screening and Q&A

You didn’t even have to actually watch “A Nightmare on Elm Street” to be haunted by Wes Craven’s classic slasher flick when it came out in 1984. The posters of Freddy’s mangled face hanging up at Blockbuster were horrifying on their own. Then, there’s the scene where Freddy calls Nancy after murdering her boyfriend Glenn (Johnny Depp) and utters the line, “I’m your boyfriend now, Nancy.” Then, his tongue comes through the phone. Iconic and disgusting in the best way.

A Q-and-A with actresses Heather Langenkamp, Amanda Wyss and additional cast members follows the screening. Free drinks for attendees over 21.
